Picigin official merchandise!
Sport originated on the sandy Bacvice beach in Split. Picigin was first played in 1908. by a Croatian student group who found it difficult to play waterpolo in the shallow sandy water. So instead, they began playing a different game suitable for the enviroment.
The traditional ball is a handmade peeled tennis ball, polished off to a certain rubber thickness so it has a perfect bounce.
Players stand in a circle and bounce the ball to eachother trying to save it from falling in the sea. In order to save the ball, they show off their atlethic and acrobatic skills.
Since 2005. on Bacvice beach we have a World Championship in Picigin.
In June 2008. Picigin was pronounced as a Croatian immaterial cultural good.

All our products are hand screenprinted in our Forgas Studio in Split, Dalmatia, using only the finest pigments we mix ourselves for rich, lasting colours. Unlike DTF, DTG, and other digital methods, traditional screenprinting gives a softer touch, deeper colour saturation, and unmatched durability. Printed on fine cotton, each piece is carefully inspected by the artist to ensure top quality. By choosing our work, you support a local family business dedicated to craftsmanship and long-lasting, wearable art.
